Family Mental Health Consultants, founded in 1985 by David M. Brodzinsky, Ph.D. and Anne B. Brodzinsky, Ph.D., provides a wide range of clinical, consultation, and training services in the fields of mental health, child welfare, forensic psychology, and education.
In addition to providing direct services to clients, FMH Consultants offers research consultation in the fields of adoption and foster care. David and Anne Brodzinsky are widely known for their adoption research and for their publications for professionals and the public. They are both consultants to the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute in New York City, a non-profit organization providing policy analysis, research, education, training, and advocacy in the adoption field. David’s newest book, Adoption by Lesbians and Gay Men, has just been published by Oxford University Press.
